Lids with a wooden stem top the baskets off perfectly. Narrow shoestring weave allows for the smoothest curves in baskets, and this pumpkin is curvy. Curving out from the board bottom to its widest and then back in to the top, shoestring weave requires a more skilled weaver. Regular-sized weaves create the widest part. One swinging handle allows the basket to be carried easily, while the board bottom sits securely. The basket won’t hold quite the treats it might appear to, since the plastic protector is straight, not curved.
