Recently discovered in storage -. 2005 COLLECTOR’S CLUB. Warm Brown COMPOTE Basket Set. No flaws, Mint Condition in Box (box is slightly worn, see pix). Urn-shaped Basket measures 13 1/4″ top diameter with a 4 1/4″ inside bottom diameter x. 6 3/4 high including the pedestal base. The solid maple pedestal base measures 5″ at the bottom diameter x 3″ tall. Design is based on a classic urn form of the 19th Century. Basket shape has flared sides, which was achieved by the use of intricate 1/4″ and 3/16″ weaves to create the soft silhouette. Longaberger and Collector’s Club woodburn are found on the pedestal base. Basketweaver’s initials and date are found on the inside band.
