Basket measures: 10 1/2″L X 5 3/4″W X 4 1/2H and features and open weave concept, Vintage upsplints, Warm Brown accent shoestring weave and trim. There is also a solid Kerf bottom and Club logo. The Set includes the Basket and Protector. The Pacific Basket represents unique weaving attributes used in the fishing industry in the Pacific coastal towns. Pacific Basin American Indians of the Northwest wove many types of open weave baskets. They were typically designed to collect clams and would allow them to be rinsed by letting the sandy water run out of the baskets. This Basket was only available to Collectors Club Members.
