The Collectors Club 2010 Member Basket and Vase is shaped like a traditional American trumpet vase but has a unique feature–a hand-blown blue and green glass insert forms the rippled effect of a bloom at the crown of the vase. -from the included box. With a graceful solid wood pedestal base, the 2010 Member Basket mimicked a design created for Tami Longaberger, who had several huge pedestal vases in her home. The Basket’s pretty tapering shape has narrow shoestring weave at the bottom and layered dark green over blue double trim on the top band with a special Charter Member brass tag. The gorgeous Glass Ruffle Vase, also designed and created in America, features a mother of pearl finish. It was designed to fit in the Basket but can stand on its own. Its dots, lines, and finish are spectacular and might best be seen separate from the Basket, with some lights in or behind it somehow. Both the Basket and Vase are in original boxes after being briefly displayed. These two pieces are available to Collectors Club members only from January 2010 through January 2011. Collectors Club 2010 Member Basket measures 5 1/2″ diameter by 9 3/4″ h. Collectors Club baskets combine the dark blue of the JW Longaberger Collection and the green of the Traditions Collection to create beautiful trim that enhances this exclusive group of baskets.
