The company reopened in 2019 with artisans still located in Dresden Ohio who create baskets just as they had for a century before. Longaberger baskets are handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of the company’s popularity there were over 4,000 weavers and over 70,000 home consultants. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have a great deal of inventory that was either stored or used for display purposes.
