1994 Longaberger Holiday Hostess Red Sleigh Bell Basket Set with Lid. Ring in a wonderful Christmas for years to come with the Sleigh Bell Basket. You could store a big strap of sleigh bells in it, or all sorts of other musical items, but you’ll find many other fun uses for Longaberger’s beautiful big Sleigh Bell Basket Set. The nice, heavy WoodCrafts Lid can conceal all sorts of Christmas surprises or help organize and protect contents every day. Anything from items for a picnic to craft supplies to cozy throws in the living room. The Sleigh Bell’s graceful curved shape tapers from its round top to the square bottom with ample space to hold a lot. Two swinging WoodCrafts handles allow for better balance in carrying. The Sleigh Bell Basket has a broken narrow green splint as shown in a photo. This is not unusual or striking and has been considered in pricing this nice set. Please use zoom feature on all photos. Longaberger offered a Holiday Hostess Basket annually for years, usually a larger version of the Christmas Collection Basket. This one has a red trim strip on the Basket’s top band and larger red chain weave midway down the basket, with smaller green shoestring weave on each side. Over-edge Traditional Holly fabric Liner has a generous self-fabric ruffle and nicely-finished openings with self-fabric ties to fasten around the basket’s swinging wooden handles. Liner is in original zip bag in good displayed condition. Traditional Holly fabric was offered with Christmas Collection baskets for a few years and coordinated with the Holly pottery and other items. Plastic Protector covers the entire inside area and is in good briefly-displayed condition. A Protector adds many uses to a basket set, from safely holding a plant in its pot to icing down canned or bottled drinks at a gathering to holding your big knitting project snag-free and more! WoodCrafts Lid with red wooden knob is in good displayed condition. The Lid has a few small dark dots that came from the little rubber feet of a Pie Stand that was displayed on this Lid at Longaberger shows. They might be somehow removed.
