RARE Longaberger 2016 Irish Saint Patrick’s Day Make Your Own Luck Basket, Protector, Tie-on, & Lid Set NWT. This square shaped basket shows all of the colors of Irish Saint Patrick’s Day from the green, lime green and light green horizontal splints and olive green up splints on the warm brown woven basket; to the original hand painted clover tie-on by Hazel to the dark green wooden lid decorated with cream colored field of three leaf clovers. This is an extremely rare basket because it was woven on 10/16/15 for the 2016 campaign. The bright green hard plastic protector will protect your basket and is food safe. I have included one of my friends, Hazel’s, hand painted original clover tie-on. Hazel and I used to do craft shows and sell our painted lids, tie-ons, and other accessories for the Longaberger baskets during the 1990s. Hazel and I finally retired due to our age and Hazel has since gone to be with the Lord, so this is a special tie-on. This basket set has such high in design with every detail. There were seven children in my family, two years a part, and if mother was busy, she would tell us stories about luck, blessings, and leprechauns and have us all sit in a field of clovers in our front yard looking for four leaf clovers. The finder always got a surprise and we had such fun. I still have some even at 80 years old. All items have been stored in my climate controlled smoke free home since purchasing.
