Longaberger Collector’s Club introduced the JW Miniatures in December, 1995 to all members. The JW Miniature Two-Pie Basket is the fourth in a series of twelve down-sized baskets that was available only to Collector Club members. It came with a miniature shelf to divide the basket. This set comes with the fabric liner in JW Miniature Plaid pattern, the plastic protector, all original product cards and box. This mini basket measures. 4.75L 5W 4H. The bonus with this set is the Collector’s Club Miniature Wrought Iron Two Pie Stand. This stand is new in the box and is inscribed with the “Longaberger” name. It too has the original product card. Miniature maple leaf embellishment on sides and at top. This Miniature Two-Pie Server was offered to Collectors Club Members only starting May 1, 1999 through November 30, 1999. The Longaberger Company, Dresden Ohio, created handwoven baskets out of hardwood maple sourced from the US, pottery, hand-forged wrought iron and other items for over forty years, from 1973 to 2018. The company reopened in 2019 with artisans still located in Dresden Ohio who create baskets just as they had for a century before. Longaberger baskets are handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of the company’s popularity there were over 4,000 weavers and over 70,000 home consultants.
