Reintroduction of the May Series Rose Basket in a miniature collection. Baskets are being introduced in reverse order from the original May Series. Like the original, all of the miniature collection are in Classic stain. 12th of 13 in the series, the Miniature Rose is in Classic Stain. Grandma Bonnie began preparing her rose bushes in early May. Throughout the summer, she would look for buds daily, sometimes clipping a few for the dining room and others she would leave to open to full bloom (text taken directly from July 2010 Consultant Notebook). The Longaberger Company, Dresden Ohio, created handwoven baskets out of hardwood maple sourced from the US, pottery, hand-forged wrought iron and other items for over forty years, from 1973 to 2018. Longaberger baskets were handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have a great deal of inventory that was either stored or used for display purposes.
