Here’s a hard to find Longaberger 2001 Father’s Day basket. It is the checkerboard basket. A lovely traditional Longaberger square basket is topped off with a checkerboard woodcraft lid. Inside are wooden checkers in light and dark with one holder. A clear plastic protector, and sage green liner are included. Although these pieces do not have any of the original packaging, they are in new/mint condition. I don’t believe this has even been displayed. It was part of an extensive Longaberger collection. Overall the set is about 15 1/2″ square and 6 1/8″ tall. I try to give any information I have about the listings, and to tell you whether the information is fact or opinion. My description will point out anything I find that could possibly be considered a flaw. For this reason, many past buyers felt that they received a better product than they expected. I use padded envelopes, peanuts, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam packaging as necessary to ensure safe arrival.
